52- SABRINE JOHNSTON — Transgender Activist and motivational speaker
For the past eight years, Sabrine Johnston has lived as a happy, strikingly beautiful woman. A talented hairstylist, Sabrine transitioned publically over a four-year period while being supported by her employer Capelli Designs Salon in Jupiter, Florida. Her clients and associates watched as she moved from being thought of as a gay male to becoming a female who now openly mentors transgender youth at the Compass LGBT Community Center in Lake Worth. “We are all trying to be the best version of ourselves that we can. And trying to be the best person we can. When we are met with adversity for doing that, that’s heartbreaking.” She is married to her husband Eric Pearson.
