45- REV. DR. ROBERT GRIFFIN — Executive minister, Sunshine Cathedral
Dr. Robert Griffin is the executive minister of Sunshine Cathedral, the Fort Lauderdale edition of the Metropolitan Community Churches. A graduate of the Episcopal Divinity School and the Florida Center for Theological Studies, Robert wrote is doctoral thesis on Anti-Racism Work in a Queer Context. A native of Alabama, and a veteran of the US Navy, Robert is the partner of Dr. Durrell Watkins, the senior minister at the cathedral. Their 16 year relationship began in divinity school.
