Bobby Blair Autographs to Sell-Out Crowd

FLUSHING MEADOW—Multimedia Platforms LLC founder Bobby Blair had his fans lining up for his autograph during his August 29, 2014 book signing of his autobiography titled “Hiding Inside the Baseline.” The book was showcased during the day on all scoreboards at the U.S. Open, played annually at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadow, NY.

Over 1,000 people turned up at the US Open Book Store between 3 and 4 p.m. to buy a copy of the paperback book, co-written with Barry Buss. Among the celebrities joining Blair were tennis icons Billie Jean King and Nick Bollettieri, LZ Granderson of ESPN and CNN fame, and Sven Groenfeld, (International Coach for Maria Sharapova).

In addition to Blair’s appearance at Flushing Meadow, he and Buss appeared in midtown Manhattan for a second book signing and reception on Saturday, August 30 at the Segal Jensen Tennis Market at 501 Lexington Avenue (47th and Lexington).

“Having the ability with my life story to allow tennis to be at the forefront for global LGBT social change in the sporting world with the game’s biggest names is a dream come true,” Blair said.
